Huawei MediaPad M1 is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A100, getting a overall score of 61.5 against 51.3. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has newer 4.2.2 version and Acer Iconia Tab A100 has Android 4.0.3 version, so it offers lots of additional features and enhanced performance. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a way newer device, and it is also way thinner and way lighter than the Acer Iconia Tab A100.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a bit superior CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A100, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a higher number of cores. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more vivid display than Acer Iconia Tab A100, because it has a bit bigger screen, a bit higher display density and a higher resolution of 1280 x 800.
The Acer Iconia Tab A100 features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A100 also has 16 GB internal memory. The Acer Iconia Tab A100 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both have a 5 megapixels back facing camera.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a superior battery lifetime than Acer Iconia Tab A100, because it has a 214 percent more battery size.
Huawei MediaPad M1 costs a little more than Acer Iconia Tab A100, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
