Asus Fonepad 7 has an overall score of 58.9, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510's 55.4 general score. The Asus Fonepad 7 design is lighter and a bit thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus Fonepad 7 has newer 5.0 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.

Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a sharper display than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Asus Fonepad 7 also counts with a greater pixels count in each screen inch. Asus Fonepad 7 features a bit better performance than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a 64-bits processor and a greater amount of RAM.

The Asus Fonepad 7 counts with a much better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a back camera with a 5 megapixels, the Asus Fonepad 7 also has a much higher (Full HD) video resolution. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Asus Fonepad 7, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, giving up a couple specs and features.
