Comparison review
The Google Nexus 7 has a score of 59.3, which is just a bit better than Acer Iconia Tab A510's 55.4 global score. Although Google Nexus 7 and Acer Iconia Tab A510 were released with only a couple months difference, Google Nexus 7 is a little thinner and extremely lighter. Both of these tablets include Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 7 has newer 5.1 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
Google Nexus 7 counts with a better screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a much smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Google Nexus 7 also counts with more pixels per inch of display. Google Nexus 7 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have 4 cores and a 1 GB RAM, the Google Nexus 7 also has an additional graphics processing unit.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a much better memory for games and applications than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a superior battery performance than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 127% larger battery capacity.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 captures much better photos and videos than Google Nexus 7.
The Google Nexus 7 is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
