Comparison review

HTC Flyer is a bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a overall score of 58.7 against 55.4. The HTC Flyer body is way lighter than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, but it is somewhat thicker and was released only 13 months before. Both tablets in this comparison include Android OS, but the HTC Flyer has the previous 3.2 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version.

The HTC Flyer features a little bit better screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a much smaller display and a lot worse 600 x 1024px resolution, it also counts with a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a little bit better processing power than HTC Flyer, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also counts with a higher number of cores.

HTC Flyer counts with as much storage for apps and games as the Acer Iconia Tab A510 one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a much longer battery performance than HTC Flyer, because it has a 9800mAh battery size against 4000mAh.

HTC Flyer features a way better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both have the same resolution back camera, the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video definition.

Although HTC Flyer is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A510. If you want to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A510, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
