Comparison review
LG G Pad 8.0 is a bit better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a 58.6 score against 55.4. LG G Pad 8.0's design is just a little thinner and lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G Pad 8.0 has the newer 5.0 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0.
LG G Pad 8.0 features a better display than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 800px, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with a higher screen density. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a bit better CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and the same RAM amount, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has an additional graphics processing unit.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 features a better storage capacity for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. LG G Pad 8.0 features a much better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a camera with a 5 mega pixels, the LG G Pad 8.0 also has a much higher video quality.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 features a very superior battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
Although LG G Pad 8.0 is a better device, it is more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra features, you can buy LG G Pad 8.0, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia Tab A510, resigning some features and specifications.
