Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a 66.2 score against 55.4. These tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has newer 4.4.2 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version, providing the user a couple additional features. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 design is way newer, much lighter and thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A510.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a more vivid display than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with a greater screen pixel density.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 features more storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has an external memory slot that supports 32 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, although it has a way worse resolution camera in the back and a lower (HD) video definition.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
