Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510's 55.4 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's construction is notably lighter and way thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, even though both of them were released with only a few months difference. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the newer 4.0.4 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Acer Iconia Tab A510 count with quite similar processing units, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an inferior number of cores (but faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a brighter screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 32 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a little bit better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, although it has a back-facing camera with way less MP and a worse 1280x720 video resolution.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a 92 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A510. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
