Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an impressive tablet released back in the year 2011, coming with a good size 7.7 inches touch-screen, a high speed Dual-Core processor ticking at 1400 MHz, and two cameras, a 3 MP back camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.

This tablet is powered by a great Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1400 MHz and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a bit low for such a good tablet device. Graphic rendering usually consume a lot of CPU processing time, so this tablet counts with an additional ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphic processing unit running at 320 MHz to take some work out of the processor. A great point of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is its 64 GB large internal storage memory and an external memory slot, enough to store lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about how much memory is left.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 doesn't feel very lightweight for a device this size, with a weight of 11.82 ounces. The Tab 7.7 is just 0.31 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet device's category. The Tab 7.7 is only 7.74 inches long, but it still manages to hold a 7.7 inches screen.

This device features two cameras, a 3 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera. It can also shoot videos in HD 1280x720. The camera also counts with auto-focus and flash.

Samsung equipped this device with a good 7.7-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , which makes everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses Super AMOLED Plus capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This tablet includes wifi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router or modem), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE networks and 3G fast connection type, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM connection.

This tablet also features a couple nice features as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This device features a big capacity 5100 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery providing this tablet an amazing battery duration. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is not removable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to get older, though with its 5100 mAh you will probably replace this portable tablet before that becomes a real problem.

The Tab 7.7 is priced 675 dollars, which is a really high price for a tablet this level. If you want a tablet device to mainly use social networks, will use it as a gamer tablet device, want it to take tons of photos or want a tablet device for work, this tablet device is probably very appropiate for you.
