Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a mid-end Android device released many years ago, which features a high-tech 1400 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit, a quite big 7.7-inches display, and two cameras, a 3 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front side camera.

This device doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other tablets , weighting 11.82 ounces. This tablet is just 0.31 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest tablets podium. Though this tablet is just 7.74" long, it is able to fit a a 7.7 inches display.

Samsung packed the Tab 7.7 with an average 7.7-inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , making everything look nice. This display uses Super AMOLED Plus capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This device comes with an extremely powerful Dual-Core CPU ticking at 1400 MHz and only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit poor for a tablet this powerful. Collaborating with graphic intensive apps, this tablet also uses an ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphics processing unit running at 320 megahertz. The Tab 7.7 comes with an 8 GB quite large internal storage memory and an external memory slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred apps and games without any problem.

This tablet provides wi-fi connection (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G HSPA+ internet connection, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Tab 7.7 uses a SIM card for GSM carriers.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 3 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 MP front camera. This tablet also films videos in HD 1280x720. Additionally, the camera has flash and auto-focus.

This tablet comes with a huge 5100 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into account is that the Tab 7.7's battery is non-removable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to get older, while with its 5100 mAh you will probably replace this portable tablet before it becomes an issue.

The Tab 7.7 also comes with some nice features like Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Localization, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

This device is really overpriced considering it is sold for 675 dollars, and some similar tablets are offerred way cheaper than that. No matter whether you want a tablet to play tons of games, are looking for a tablet mainly for internet broswing and social networks or want a tablet for work, this tablet is the correct option for you.
