Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a score of 66.9, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7's 60.9 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active's construction is incredibly newer, but somewhat thicker and a little heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. These devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a newer 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a display that's just as good as the display in Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a quite lower screen density, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a much better memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has 16 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab Active features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, a higher number of cores and a faster graphics co-processor working at 450 megahertz. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 15% larger battery size.
The Galaxy Tab Active counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Galaxy Tab Active also has a better 3.1 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
The Galaxy Tab Active is not only the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, which makes it an obvious call.
