Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, getting a general score of 58.6 against 55.4. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy Tab is older and a little thicker than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, it's body is still notably lighter. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a display that is just as good as the display in Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a way lower 600 x 1024px resolution and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixel count per display inch.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab. Both have equal 32 GB internal storage. Samsung Galaxy Tab has a superior camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, although it has a much worse resolution back-facing camera and a much worse 720x480 video definition.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a much better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, giving up a couple specifications.
