Samsung Galaxy Tab is a mid level device launched back in 2010, counting with a 1000 megahertz processing unit, a good size 7 inches multi-touch screen, and 2 cameras, a 3 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.3 MP front side camera. But let's get into much more detail.
Although the Tab is only 7.48" long, it's still able to fit a a 7" display. Samsung didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 13.4 oz tablet.
Samsung ships the Tab with a powerful processing unit clocking at 1000 MHz and 512 MB RAM memory. The Tab counts with a huge 32 GB internal storage memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to store hundreds of apps and even the heaviest games available nowadays without having to worry about running out of space at all.
Samsung packed the Samsung Galaxy Tab with an average 7-inches display, and a 600 x 1024 resolution, giving this device a nice graphic quality. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
This tablet has wi-fi capability (and it can be shared with other devices around, as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM connection.
The Tab features two cameras, a 3 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. It can also shoot videos in 720x480 at 30 fps. The camera also counts with flash and auto-focus.
The Tab uses a 4000 mAh long lasting Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it at all. An issue to consider is that the Tab's battery is not removable so you can't change it when it begins to live shorter, although with such a big battery you will probably discard this portable tablet before it becomes an issue.
This tablet also comes with a couple of interesting features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Proximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
Samsung offers the Tab for $ 130, which is a very high price for comparing with similar tablets. This tablet is definitely a great option for you it doesn't matter whether you need a tablet device for gaming, want a tablet for work or need a portable tablet to majorly use social networks.
