Comparison review

Galaxy Tab has a global score of 58.6, which is slightly better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s global score of 58.6. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab has an older 2.3.3 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Galaxy Tab is a better tablet device than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), it must be noted that it's also notably older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a better processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) both have quite similar displays, although the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a just a little higher pixel density, a little bit larger display and a better 800 x 1280 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab takes better photographs and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Tab also has a much more mega pixels camera in the back. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab. Both of them have equal 32 GB internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab features a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).

Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning some specs and features.
