Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 is a decently made Android device launched in November 2013, featuring a great performance Quad-Core processor ticking at 1200 MHz, a big 7 inches touch-screen, a 3.2 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front-facing camera. But it's time to get into a bit more details.
This tablet is thin, but it's not as thin as many other devices you can find, with a thickness of 0.4". Verizon didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 12.7 oz tablet.
Verizon decided to design this tablet using a good performance Quad-Core processor ticking at 1200 MHz with 1 GB of RAM memory. This device comes with anice 8 GB internal memory and an external SD slot, allowing the user to install a couple hundred apps without running out of space.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 has two cameras, a 3.2 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. It is also able to capture Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 12 fps, and 1280x720 HD slow-motion videos at 22 fps.
This tablet includes a nice 800 x 1280 7 inches display, giving this portable tablet a detailed image quality. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 counts with a big capacity 4000 mAh replaceable battery that can keep this tablet device running for several hours without charging it at all.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (and it can be provided to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE (4G) high performance data connection and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 doesn't use a sim card, because it is not a GSM enabled device.
This tablet also features some useful characteristics as Bluetooth and GPS, and a couple sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
This device is really overpriced considering it is offerred for $ 125, and some similar tablets are being sold for much less than that.
