Comparison review
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a score of 53.7, which is slightly better than Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7's 51.2 overall score. These devices use Android OS, but Acer Iconia One 8 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 has Android 4.2.2 version. Acer Iconia One 8's body is much newer, a bit thinner and a bit lighter than the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 counts with a brighter screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. Acer Iconia One 8 features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB and 16 GB internal storage.
