Amazon Fire HD 6 is a mid-level Android portable tablet released back in 2014, packed with a Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.5 GHz, a 6 inches multi touch screen, and two cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera.
This device ships with a high performance 1.5 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little disappointing for a tablet this good. An interesting aspect of the Amazon Fire HD 6 is its 8 GB quite large internal memory and although it doesn't include a slot for external memory cards, it should be enough to store hundreds of apps, although it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are fan of the largest games available nowadays.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 is quite thin and looks really nice, though it's not close to being one of the thinnest tablets out there, with a thickness of 0.4 inches. Amazon appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 10.23 oz tablet. Amazon made this tabletavailable only in many color variations: black, pink, yellow, blue and white.
This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 2 mega-pixels back side camera and a 0.3 MP front camera. The Amazon Fire HD 6 also films videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD).
The Amazon Fire HD 6 includes a good looking 1280 x 800 6 inches display, which makes everything look great. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
The Amazon Fire HD 6 counts with wi-fi connection (and it can provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot). This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM enabled tablet.
This device also features Bluetooth, and a couple sensors likeAccelerometer and Gyroscope.
