Comparison review

Acer Iconia A1 is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 6, with a score of 55.4 against 54.1. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia A1 has an older 4.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 6 has Android 4.4 version. Although it's the best portable tablet in our current comparison, we must note that it's also an older, way heavier and just a little bit thicker portable tablet.

The Amazon Fire HD 6 has a little bit better performance than Acer Iconia A1, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, they both have the same RAM amount and 4 CPU cores. The Amazon Fire HD 6 features a sharper screen than Acer Iconia A1, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 1280 x 800 resolution and much more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Acer Iconia A1 features a greater camera than Amazon Fire HD 6, and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Acer Iconia A1 also has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Acer Iconia A1 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Amazon Fire HD 6, because it has more internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 32 GB.

The Acer Iconia A1 features a really longer battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 6.

Acer Iconia A1 is not only the best tablets of the ones we compare here, but it's also by far the cheapest one, making it an obvious call.
