ARCHOS GamePad is a quite basic Android tablet released many years ago, with a very fast Dual-Core CPU running at 1600 megahertz and a pretty big 7 inches multi touch display.
Archos sells the ARCHOS GamePad with an extremely powerful 1.6 GHz Dual-Core processor. Graphic calculations generally uses lots of processing power, so it has an extra 320 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP1 graphics processing unit to take care of them, leaving the processor free for other tasks. A nice advantage of this device is its 8 GB quite large internal memory and an external memory card slot, allowing the user to store a couple hundred apps without any problem.
Whereas the ARCHOS GamePad is only 0" long, it is able to fit a a 7" screen.
This device has a interesting 600 x 1024 7-inches display, giving this portable tablet a good graphic quality.
This tablet doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled tablet.
The ARCHOS GamePad has no cameras at all.
Archos is offering the ARCHOS GamePad for $ 95, which is a high price for a tablet this level.
