Comparison review
Galaxy Tab has a global score of 58.6, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s general score of 58.5. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1. Although it's the best tablet device in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also an older, just a bit heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM and more CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab. Both of them have the same exact 600 x 1024 resolution, a greater pixels amount in each inch of display and a display with the same size.
Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) also has a lot higher video resolution. The Galaxy Tab counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) have extremely similar batteries performance.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
