Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is better than the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7's 51.2 general score. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab has the previous 2.3.3 version while Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 has Android 4.2.2. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Galaxy Tab is an extremely older, thicker and a little bit heavier tablet than the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7.
The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 3 more CPU cores and more RAM. The Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 counts with a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 also has a better resolution of 800 x 1280 and a better pixel density.
The Galaxy Tab has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 24 GB more internal memory capacity. Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab have very similar batteries duration.
Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7 takes clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition and a back-facing camera with a higher resolution.
The Galaxy Tab costs a bit more money than Verizon Wireless Ellipsis 7, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
