Comparison review

Google Nexus 7 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab, having a 59.3 score against 58.6. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 has newer 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it provides some additional features. Google Nexus 7's body is newer, thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab.

The Google Nexus 7 counts with a better performing CPU than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores, an extra graphics processing unit and 512 MB more RAM. The Google Nexus 7 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a same size screen, the Google Nexus 7 also has a better pixels amount per inch in the screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab captures much better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7. Samsung Galaxy Tab and Google Nexus 7 both count with similar memory for apps and games, and although the Google Nexus 7 has no slot for an SD memory card, they both have the same internal storage. The Google Nexus 7 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab, because it has an 8% more battery size.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Google Nexus 7 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it very easy to pick between these tablets.
