Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a 61.2 score against 56.5. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 design is newer, incredibly lighter and extremely thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both tablets we are comparing come with Android OS, but the Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a more recent 4.4 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1, so it provides you a couple additional features.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a bit better processor than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a bit sharper screen than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1200px, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both of them have a 5 mega pixels back camera. Asus MeMO Pad 8's storage capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as Acer Iconia Tab A700's one, both have equal 32 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that allows up to 64 GB.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a very superior battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Although Asus MeMO Pad 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A700, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
