The LG G Pad 8.3 is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a overall score of 65.9 against 56.5. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but the LG G Pad 8.3 has a more recent 4.4 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version. The LG G Pad 8.3 body is newer, way thinner and much lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700.
LG G Pad 8.3 has a bit better processor than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has more RAM memory. LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a sharper screen than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1200 x 1920 resolution, the LG G Pad 8.3 also counts with a quite greater pixel density.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a much better memory for games and applications than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has more internal memory. Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a superior battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
LG G Pad 8.3 captures much better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700. They have a 5 MP resolution camera in the back.
LG G Pad 8.3 is way more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A700, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
