Nokia N1 is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, having a 66 score against 56.5. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Nokia N1 has the newer 5.0 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, giving you some nice extra features. The Nokia N1 construction is noticeably newer, incredibly thinner and a lot lighter than the Acer Iconia Tab A700.
Nokia N1 has a better looking screen than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and a better screen pixels density. Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia N1, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 64 GB.
The Nokia N1 has a way better processing power than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have 4 cores, the Nokia N1 also has a higher amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit CPU. The Nokia N1 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a way better resolution back camera.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a much longer battery performance than Nokia N1, because it has a 9800mAh battery capacity against 5300mAh.
Although Nokia N1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you want to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A700, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
