Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a score of 66.3 against 56.5. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is a somewhat thinner and a little lighter tablet than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, although both were released with only 2 months difference. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has the newer 4.4 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 1 GB more RAM memory. Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a way higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a way better display density.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 and Galaxy Note 10.1 count with extremely similar cameras, both of them have a same resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has a SD memory slot that admits 32 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a 9800mAh battery size instead of 7000mAh.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
