Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, having a general score of 78.2 against 56.5. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has newer 4.4 version while Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, offering a couple additional features. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 body is newer and much thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the Acer Iconia Tab A700.
Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a faster CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has a graphics co-processor and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a much better looking screen than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a just a bit higher screen pixels density, a bigger display and a better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 captures much better photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because it has a 9800mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
