Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a score of 62.5, which is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700's 56.5 general score. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is lighter and much thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A700. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has older 3.1 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a greater number of cores. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 64 GB. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a bit better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera.

So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A700, letting go some features and specifications.
