Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and way more pixels per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because although it has 2 less CPU cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has more internal memory and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Acer Iconia Tab A700 and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) have similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a camera with way less mega-pixels.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia Tab A700. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia Tab A700, letting go a couple specifications.
