The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a bit better than Acer Iconia Tab A700, with a general score of 60.7 against 56.5. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) body is extremely lighter and a little bit thinner than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, even though both of them were released only 1 months apart. Both of these tablets come with the same Android 4.1 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920, a lot bigger display and more pixels per inch of display. Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has more cores. Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 145% larger battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) shoots much better photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a camera in the back with much less megapixels resolution.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia Tab A700.
