Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has an overall score of 65.9, which is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A700's general score of 56.5. These devices work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has 4.2 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, providing the user lots of additional features and performance optimizations. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch body is newer, thinner and extremely lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700.
The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch and Acer Iconia Tab A700 both count with very similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch has lesser cpu cores (although faster), they both have the same RAM amount. Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way higher pixel count per display inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch's memory capacity for applications and games is very similar to the Acer Iconia Tab A700 one, both of them have an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB and equal 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch features a superior camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a lot lower resolution back camera.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 6800mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 3 10.1-inch is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
