Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a general score of 65.6, which is better than Acer Iconia Tab A700's general score of 56.5. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a more recent 4.4.2 version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, giving some extra features and some performance improvements. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a much newer tablet, and it's also much lighter and somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A700.

Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core CPU. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a little sharper display than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1280 x 800, a lot smaller screen and a little worse screen pixels density.

Acer Iconia Tab A700 counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 also has more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a way better camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700, although it has a lot less mega pixels camera in the back.
