Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 has an overall score of 70, which is a lot better than the Acer Iconia Tab A700's score of 56.5. Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a newer tablet, and it's also just a bit thinner and lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A700. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Acer Iconia Tab A700 has Android 4.1 version, providing lots of additional features.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a bigger screen, a just a little greater screen pixel density and a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit better processor than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a larger amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
Acer Iconia Tab A700 has a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a very superior camera than Acer Iconia Tab A700, because it has a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
The Acer Iconia Tab A700 features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 9800mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A700. If you want to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia Tab A700, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
