Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a global score of 57.6, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia Talk S's 55.2 general score. Even though Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Acer Iconia Talk S were only released with a couple months difference, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD design is just a little thinner but also a lot heavier than Acer Iconia Talk S. These tablets have the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (operating system).
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a brighter display than Acer Iconia Talk S, because it has a little bit bigger screen, more pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia Talk S, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.
