Comparison review

The Asus VivoTab is a bit better than Acer Iconia W3, getting a 57.5 score against 57.3. Both devices we compare here include Windows operating system, but Asus VivoTab has the older 8 version while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro. Asus VivoTab is a somewhat thinner but noticeably heavier tablet than the Acer Iconia W3.

Asus VivoTab features a bit better processor than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also has an extra graphics processing unit. Acer Iconia W3 counts with a more vivid display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen.

The Asus VivoTab counts with as much storage to store more apps and games as Acer Iconia W3, and although the Asus VivoTab has no SD memory card expansion slot, they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage. Asus VivoTab takes way better photos and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a camera with much more mega-pixels.

The Acer Iconia W3 counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Asus VivoTab.

Although Asus VivoTab is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia W3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Asus VivoTab, else you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia W3, resigning a couple specs and features.
