Asus VivoTab Review

Asus VivoTab is a pretty good Windows tablet device launched in June 2012, provisioned with a high performance 1800 MHz Dual-Core CPU, a 11.6" multi-touch display, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2 MP front side camera. But let's get into much more detail.

Being just 0.34 inches thick,this device is very thin and practical. The Asus VivoTab only has 11.58" long, but it still manages to hold a 11.6 inches screen. The Asus VivoTab is much lighter than what one would think about a tablet of this size.

Asus decided to build this device using a high performance 1800 megahertz Dual-Core processing unit with a large 2 GB RAM. Handling graphic rendering, this device also has a 533 MHz PowerVR SGX545 GPU. The Asus VivoTab has a 64 GB big internal storage and an external memory slot, allowing the user to install tons of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without worrying about how much memory is left.

This screen uses Super IPS+ LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This tablet counts with WiFi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices acting as a hotspot). This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.

The Asus VivoTab is equipped with two cameras, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. This tablet also captures Full HD 1920x1080 videos. In addition, this tablet's camera also includes some nice features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Asus VivoTab also features a few nice characteristics such as Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This tablet is priced $ 280, which is a really high price for a portable tablet this level. This tablet is a good choice for you no matter whether you want a gamer tablet device or are looking for a social tablet.
