Comparison review
Asus VivoTab RT has a general score of 61, which is a little bit better than Acer Iconia W3's global score of 57.3. The Asus VivoTab RT design is thinner but just a little bit heavier than the Acer Iconia W3. These tablets come with Windows OS, but Asus VivoTab RT has the newer RT version and Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro, giving some additional features and enhanced performance.
Acer Iconia W3 has a bit superior CPU than Asus VivoTab RT, although it has less cores , they both have the same RAM amount. The Acer Iconia W3 counts with a brighter screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a little better amount of pixels in each screen inch.
Asus VivoTab RT has a very superior camera than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a much more megapixels back-facing camera. The Asus VivoTab RT and Acer Iconia W3 feature very similar storage capacity to install games and applications, and although the Asus VivoTab RT has no external memory slot, they both have the same 64 GB internal storage.
Acer Iconia W3 counts with a superior battery duration than Asus VivoTab RT.
Although Asus VivoTab RT is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Asus VivoTab RT, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia W3, giving up a couple specs and features.
