Comparison review
Asus VivoTab Smart has a general score of 58.7, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia W3's 57.3 global score. These devices use Windows operating system, but Asus VivoTab Smart has the previous 8 version and Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro version. The Asus VivoTab Smart is a a bit thinner but heavier tablet device than Acer Iconia W3.
The Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has an extra graphics processing unit. The Acer Iconia W3 features a better looking display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density.
Asus VivoTab Smart takes greater pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a lot more MP camera in the back. Asus VivoTab Smart has as much memory capacity to install games and applications as the Acer Iconia W3, and although the Asus VivoTab Smart has no SD memory slot, they both have the same internal storage capacity.
The Acer Iconia W3 has a way better battery duration than Asus VivoTab Smart.
Although Asus VivoTab Smart is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Acer Iconia W3, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
