Comparison review
Dell Venue 8 Pro is a bit better than Acer Iconia W3, with a 59.6 score against 57.3. Dell Venue 8 Pro is a somewhat thinner and a lot lighter tablet than the Acer Iconia W3. Both of these devices come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Dell Venue 8 Pro has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.
Dell Venue 8 Pro has a bit faster processor than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also has a larger number of 1.8 GHz cores. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a little bit better display than Acer Iconia W3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Dell Venue 8 Pro also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density.
Dell Venue 8 Pro shoots much better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a much higher resolution back camera. Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia W3. Both have the same internal storage. The Dell Venue 8 Pro counts with a really longer battery duration than Acer Iconia W3, because it has 4830mAh of battery capacity against 3400mAh.
Although Dell Venue 8 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia W3, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
