Dell Venue 8 Pro Review

Dell Venue 8 Pro is a pretty good Windows tablet, which counts with a 1.8 gigahertz Quad-Core processing unit, a 8" multi-touch display, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 1.2 mega-pixels front camera.

Dell appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 13.9 oz tablet device. Dell made this device in 2 different colors, black and red. Whereas the Dell Venue 8 Pro is only 8.5" long, it manages to contain a 8" display. This tablet has a gorgeous design, with a thickness of just 0.35 inches.

Dell packed this tablet with a good 8" display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , which makes all images and videos look good.

Dell decided to build this tablet with an extremely powerful Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1800 MHz, packed into a Intel Atom Bay Trail-T system chip and a huge 2 GB of RAM. The Dell Venue 8 Pro comes with a 64 GB impressive internal memory and an external memory card slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without having to worry about how much storage capacity is left.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.2 megapixels front side camera. In addition, this tablet's camera also counts with auto-focus.

This device offers WiFi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a modem). The Dell Venue 8 Pro doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled tablet.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro comes with an amazing 4830 mAh non-removable battery that provides the Dell Venue 8 Pro a great battery life. An issue to evaluate is that this tablet's battery is not replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins losing capacity, although with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new tablet before it becomes a real problem.

This tablet also comes with Bluetooth (4.0), and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
