The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is better than Acer Iconia W3, with a overall score of 64.8 against 57.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 works with Android 4.0.4 OS, while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro OS. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a a lot lighter and way thinner tablet device than Acer Iconia W3. Acer Iconia W3 features a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 cores, the Acer Iconia W3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a screen that's just as good as Acer Iconia W3's screen, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little higher pixel count per inch of screen. Galaxy Tab 7.7 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a much more MP back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has more memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia W3. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a superior battery life than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a 5100mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia W3, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
