Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a global score of 57.6, which is just a bit better than Acer Iconia W3's general score of 57.3. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, and Acer Iconia W3 works with Windows 8 Pro OS. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD design is extremely lighter and a lot thinner than the Acer Iconia W3.
Acer Iconia W3 counts with a slightly better looking display than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a lot lower 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a way lower pixels number per screen inch, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The Acer Iconia W3 has a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a little faster processing unit than Acer Iconia W3, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a way better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a greater camera than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a lot higher 8 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Although Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W3.
