Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is slightly better than the Acer Iconia W4, getting a 64.8 score against 59.3. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a much lighter and notably thinner tablet than the Acer Iconia W4. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with Android 4.0.4 operating system, and Acer Iconia W4 comes with Windows 8.1 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Acer Iconia W4 both count with very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a just a little greater display pixel density. Acer Iconia W4 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores (although slower).
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Acer Iconia W4. Both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a bit longer battery life than Acer Iconia W4, because it has a 5100mAh battery size against 4960mAh. Acer Iconia W4 has a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video definition and a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia W4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia W4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W4, giving up some features and specifications.
