The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is better than the Acer Iconia W510, getting a 67.9 score against 57.5. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 works with Android 4.4 operating system, while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 operating system. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's design is extremely newer, somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than the Acer Iconia W510.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better display than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a way better amount of pixels per inch in the screen. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features just a little better processing power than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a larger number of cores. The Acer Iconia W510 features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Acer Iconia W510. They have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution camera in the back.
