Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510, getting a general score of 63.2 against 57.5. Despite being the best tablet we are comparing here, the Microsoft Surface Pro is an extremely heavier and a lot thicker tablet than the Acer Iconia W510. Both tablets we compare here use Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro has the newer 8 Pro version and Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8.
The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, more pixels per display inch and a quite bigger screen. Microsoft Surface Pro has a very superior storage for applications and games than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro has a little bit better processing power than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a faster 650 megahertz GPU and a higher amount of RAM. The Acer Iconia W510 counts with a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a back-facing camera with much more MP and a much better video quality.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, letting go some features and specifications.
