Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is much better than the Acer Iconia W510's score of 57.5. Samsung Ativ Tab's design has the same thickness than Acer Iconia W510, but it is just a little bit lighter. Both devices in this comparison review come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Ativ Tab has a more recent RT version while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version, giving some extra features.
Acer Iconia W510 counts with a bit superior CPU than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have 2 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a faster GPU working at 533 megahertz. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a screen that's very similar to the screen in Acer Iconia W510, both of them have the same resolution of 768 x 1366, a greater pixels number per inch in the display and a same size display.
Acer Iconia W510 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a way higher video quality. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a much better battery duration than Acer Iconia W510, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, resigning a couple features and specs.
