The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a general score of 58.1, which is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 general score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is older than the Acer Iconia W510, it's design is a little bit lighter and a bit thinner. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 operating system, and Acer Iconia W510 works with Windows 8 operating system.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Acer Iconia W510 also has an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a bit more vivid screen than Acer Iconia W510, although it has a just a bit lower screen pixel density and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, they both have a display with the same size.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 captures slightly better videos and photos than Acer Iconia W510, although it has a worse video definition and a way less MP camera. The Acer Iconia W510 counts with a much greater storage for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a way better battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, resigning some features and specifications.
