The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has an overall score of 60.7, which is a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 general score. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) works with Android 4.1 operating system, and Acer Iconia W510 comes with Windows 8 operating system. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0)'s construction is somewhat thicker but notably lighter than the Acer Iconia W510, and they were released only 4 months apart.

The Acer Iconia W510 features a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Acer Iconia W510 also has more RAM and an extra graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a bit sharper display than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a way smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels quantity per display inch.

The Acer Iconia W510 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels. Acer Iconia W510 features a slightly bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Acer Iconia W510 also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has just a bit longer battery duration than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), otherwise you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia W510, resigning some features and specs.
