Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is much better than the Acer Iconia W510's global score of 57.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 works with Android 4.4 OS, while Acer Iconia W510 comes with Windows 8 OS. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Acer Iconia W510.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a way better display than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a much higher pixel number per display inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit better processor than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has a slower 450 megahertz graphics processing unit, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also counts with a higher number of cores (and they are faster).
Acer Iconia W510 and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 both have really similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB and the same 32 GB internal memory. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much better battery duration than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 132 percent bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features just a bit better camera than Acer Iconia W510. They have the same video frame rate, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 1920x1080 video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W510. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Acer Iconia W510, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
