Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a score of 66, which is much better than the Acer Iconia W510's 57.5 overall score. Even being the best in this review, Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a somewhat thicker and much heavier tablet than the Acer Iconia W510. Both of these tablets include the same Windows 8 OS (Operating System), so they should provide identical OS features.
The Acer Iconia W510 has a little better processing power than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have 2 processing cores, the Acer Iconia W510 also counts with an extra GPU. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 has a brighter screen than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quite larger screen and a little greater screen density.
Sony Vaio Tap 11 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features just a bit better battery life than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a 3800mAh battery size.
The Acer Iconia W510 captures slightly better photos and videos than Sony Vaio Tap 11. They have a same resolution camera in the back.
Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Sony Vaio Tap 11, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, letting go a couple features and specifications.
