Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 is a bit better than Acer Iconia W511, having a 63.4 score against 59.5. These devices come with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface 2 has a more recent RT 8.1 version and Acer Iconia W511 has Windows 8 Pro version. Microsoft Surface 2 is a heavier tablet than Acer Iconia W511, but both of them are 0.35inches thick.
Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia W511, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has more processing cores. The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit better looking screen than Acer Iconia W511, because it has a better 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a little bit larger display.
The Acer Iconia W511 features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a way more megapixels back-facing camera. Acer Iconia W511 has a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage.
Acer Iconia W511 counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2.
